Yeovil College and the Bloodhound team welcomed 40 VIP guests to the exhibition on Wednesday 2 October.
The feedback from the College Principal, Vice-Principal and Chair of Governors was that we had provided a "truly inspirational experience" for everyone who attended from VIP's, Business Guests, Community and through to the pupils and student who attended the workshops.

BloodhoundSSC - An engineering Adventure
Our Mission: To confront and overcome the impossible using science, technology, engineering and mathematics .To motivate the next generation to deal with global 21st century challenges.
The BLOODHOUND SSC engineering adventure provides us with a once in a lifetime opportunity to inspire the next generation of scientists and engineers. To achieve this ambitious goal, the BLOODHOUND Education Programme will be made available to all pupils in primary and secondary schools, and to students in further and higher education. Nearly 4,000 schools have registered in the first 18 months of the project, plus numerous presentations have been given to other groups and professional institutions, taking the project into the heart of the community and society.
The BLOODHOUND SSC project is unique when compared to other ground breaking engineering ventures in that all the information about the research, design, build and testing of the car is available to teachers and students, and of course to anyone that wishes to visit the website.
The BBC have produced a number of excellent video clips featuring BLOODHOUND SSC. These clips can all be found in the BBC Learning Zone, but have been gathered together on this page. Just type Bloodhound in the search box.
