‘Where Does Our Fruit Come From?
Natural Connections have launched their first ever competition ‘Where Does Our Fruit Come From?’
The competition is open to all primary, secondary and special schools that are within the local authority boundaries of Cornwall, Plymouth, Torbay, Bristol and North Somerset.
Discover fruits from around the world in Geography, try fruit picking in your local orchard or learn about local fruit and British wildlife in Science. Imagination for entries is key, so get your fruity thinking caps on!
Three first prizes of £100-worth of local fruit trees and bushes will be awarded - one each to the best entry from a primary, a secondary and a special school. Many thanks to Adams Apples, who are providing these wonderful prizes.
We also have loads of great runner-up prizes to be won, such as a class day out at the Eden Project, Paignton Zoo and many more – see the information sheet (link below) for full details! Our thanks to everyone who has contributed to such a fantastic array of prizes.
Submission deadline is 8th March 2014
